Are You a Super Psychic

When I was a child, I wanted to be Batman. I was drawn to his superhero status, black cape, and ability to beat out all the “bad guys”. In fact, for my fourth grade project when we all had to write about what we wanted to be when we grow up, I wrote a report about how I wanted to be Batman.

But the truth is---we are all slightly superhuman. We all are born with abilities to see, know, and understand beyond. Call it gut instinct, call it psychic powers, or call it intuition---some of the world's most successful entrepreneurs, spiritual teachers, and celebrities use this “force” to guide them in their important decisions.

So, are we all psychic? The answer is yes---we are all psychic. It's actually something that is innate in all of us. In fact, most of the time, we might be accessing our intuition without even realizing it.

Here are a few tips if you're thinking of trying to activate more of your psychic Spidey senses.

1) Intuition is quick and easy. My favorite spiritual teacher, Caroline Myss, often says that intuition has no narrative. It doesn't come from a place of your childhood wounds or your inner trauma. It's a simple knowingness. It's quick, and to the point. It's that moment where you meet someone, and something doesn't feel right. Save the life story for your shrink's couch and keep your intuitions brief and to the point.

2) Intuition needs a target. The more specific you can focus on something, the more honed in your intuitive response will be. When people come for readings with me and ask questions like, "What do you see for me?" it's similar to someone saying "Tell me about history" or "Explain science to me". The question is almost too broad to really bring in anything useful. Instead, I encourage clients in readings to form specific questions they want to ask Spirit. When you’re practicing at home, make sure you do the same. Focus on a specific person, place, or thing that you want to get an intuitive feeling about.

3) Keep a journal. Intuition is devoid of space or time. That means that when something comes forward, you need to make note of it. Often times, even in readings that I do for clients, predictions might happen, but they happen in a slightly different way, or during a different period of time, than one might imagine. If you keep track of impressions or images that you receive over time, you will be able to look back at your intuitive hits and see where things came to pass.

Until next time---stay super psychic.

PS: I designed a meditation a few months ago to help you focus on your intuition. The guided meditation takes you on a journey and connects you with your guides and get an answer about specific question. A lot of folks have found that it jumpstarted their intuition! If you would like a "FREE" copy of the MP3 sent to you email This email address is being protected from spambots.
